Cavendish Creations is a hub of creativity, fueled by a mix of hobbies, ideas, and rabbit-hole adventures. Not every experiment works out, but the joy is always in the making. At its core, the brand is about sparking laughter and a little relief—helping people forget the hard stuff for a while with something playful and lighthearted.

From banana knights to pirate captains, our projects are designed to spark joy, laughter, and creativity for kids and the young at heart. The name comes from an inside joke—“always bring a banana to a party”—and it stuck, because bananas make everything more fun.

Hi! I’m Danielle (most people just call me “D”). I’m a self-taught creator, lifelong nerd, and professional rabbit-hole explorer. By day I work in Health Informatics; by night I’m building banana worlds and chasing new projects. Humor drives everything I make, and my hope is simple: that my kids—and anyone picking up my books—see that you can create anything, even if you don’t know how at the start.

The Banana Chronicles started as a depression project—a way to bring back joy when everything else had lost its spark. Bananas are my favorite, so I imagined them as knights, pirates, and sheriffs, and suddenly the silliness clicked. My therapist saw one drawing and said, “You should publish this.”

What began as a coping tool grew into books that made other people laugh too. It pulled me out of a dark place. For me, the Banana Chronicles will always be more than coloring pages—it’s proof that even silly ideas can grow into something meaningful. Creativity has a funny way of helping us heal, connect, and laugh together.
